TSC Entry, Exit (Casualty): How To Fill Return Online Via Portal

Heads of schools, institutions, and Sub County Directors are required to electronically submit TSC entry and exit records to document the arrival and departure of teachers from an institution.

Before initiating the entry/exit process, the teacher posting procedure must be finalized. Subsequently, Human Resource Management (HRM) headquarters will receive these submissions online for further processing.

Sub County Directors will be responsible for submitting entry/exit records for institution administrators and teachers who have surpassed the specified durations of 14 days for transfer and 30 days for recruitment.

How to Access TSC Casualty Returns Portal

Visit the TSC website at https://www.tsc.go.ke and navigate to Teacher Posting & Entry/Exit under the Online Services menu.

Log in by entering your TSC number in the designated textbox and proceed by clicking ‘next’.

Enter your password and click the ‘Login’ button.

Submitting Entry/Exit Reports

To submit an Entry/Exit report, the head of the institution must log in to the system using their username and password.

Navigate to the Entry/Exit menu and select ‘Submit Entry/Exit-Inst Head’.

Teachers Entering an Institution:

To receive new teachers, select ‘Entry’ under the Actions menu.

Choose the reason for entry from the dropdown menu and then submit the request.

Teachers Exiting an Institution:

To facilitate the exit of a teacher due to transfer or temporary leave, select ‘Exit’ under the Action button.

Select the exit date from the calendar, confirm the exit by choosing ‘yes’ from the dropdown, and then click ‘save’.

Exiting Teachers from Duty in an Institution:

Teachers can permanently leave the institution due to retirement, death, or other reasons.

To facilitate the exit process, select ‘Exit Teacher’ under the Actions menu.

Please note that teachers on temporary leave will not be removed from the institution’s list but will be marked as on leave.

Upon completion, log out of the system by clicking on the dropdown arrow on the far right, selecting ‘sign out’ from the list.
