“The registration portal for this year’s candidates will close on March 29, exactly one week from now, and there will be no extension granted beyond the deadline. Late registration requests will not be entertained.

“There will be no room for change of photographs for KCSE candidates after the closure of the registration period. Please visit your child’s school and ensure he/she is registered and the details are captured accurately. Do not let your child miss the exam!” the examination body emphasized.

Among the requirements for the registration process are the student’s birth certificate details and index numbers.

The inclusion of photographs in the KCSE certificates serves the purpose of preventing fraudulent use of certificates during employment applications or university admissions.

KNEC commenced the registration process on January 29 following the release of the 2023 KCSE results.

On the other hand, registration for Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) students is currently ongoing.
